“I don't think it is unreasonable for a tourist to Chile to be able to speak a little bit of Spanish and both me and my partner do speak Spanish to a certain degree. However, we booked a tour in English for ease. The operator knows we speak English because he emailed us in English. However, when we got picked up, we were on a van full of tourists from Brazil and the whole tour was in Portuguese. We don't speak Portuguese. The guide really made no effort to try and communicate any information to us once we were on the van. Additionally, we couldn't even sit next to each…”
